Join an educational and safe experience with a dog team. 5-7 hours
You will come to our family kennel with a social and safe Alaskan huskies. After you have received information about the day, gone through safety routines and received clothing, you get to know the dogs that join the trip today. Together with the owner and guide of the kennel, you get to help get the dogs ready for an unforgettable dogsled trip in Europe’s last wilderness. The dog sledding trip takes place in the typical Finnmark plateau terrain, with forest and plateau riding. We put the sleigh ride in pristine snow and plateau landscape. We eat lunch either in tents or outdoors. Maybe the weather and the landscape allow us to see the deep Alta canyon from sledding or wild nature offers wild animals while we glide quietly out into the wilderness?
Included:
- Dogteam adapted to the guest’s skills are included.
- Winter clothing like scooter shoes, scooter clothes, polar hat, polar mittens, ski goggles / scooter glasses, headlamp.
- Safety and emergency equipment included
- The guide is the owner of the dogs and has much arctic experience. You will take part of a safe experience.
Group size:
Small groups and also available for a single guest. More than 8 guests on request.
Prices:
3500 NOK pr person
For a private day expedition the price is 17.500 NOK for single travelers, couples, two couples/ 4 friends travelling together, or a family of up to 4 who want the experience without others in the entourage.
