Important information
A dog sledding trip in an arctic environment can offer rapid weather changes and the choice of route can occasionally change due to the weather, or other conditions that require it.
You travel with live dogs on our tours, you must follow the guide’s instructions
messages and reviewed routines. High voice use for dogs that are live animals is
unnecessarily, including braking too suddenly or accelerating the sled too quickly or uncontrollably, the dogs and team can make sharp turns that cause you to fall off and could injure you. This is something the guide cannot control or take responsibility for.
The trips we organize are somewhat in dense forest but much above the forest line, which involves wind and weather that is normal for Finnmarksvidda in the Arctic. You get Arctic coveralls, polar hats, winter boots and mittens, which we recommend you use. Own clothes are your own responsibility.
